Energy efficiency & emissions mitigation:
assessing cost-effectiveness of policy measures

Objective

This training session is dedicated to the understanding of the energy demand dynamics and the evaluation of energy efficiency / CO2 mitigation policies. It aims at providing keys to understand, and become familiar with concepts, methods, and tools.

Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be able to:

  • identify the tools for energy efficiency evaluation/CO2
  • understand the issues linked to these themes
  • become familiar with concepts & methods
  • gain knowledge about political measures & evaluation indicators for each sector
  • develop your knowledge of accounting for policies & measures with end‐use models
  • discover the Odyssee Database

Who will benefit

This dowstream economics training is a practical course that will enable the professionnals in charge of designing, implementing and evaluating energy efficiency/Co2 abatments policies and measures to become familiar with energy efficiency/CO2 evaluation tools.

Teaching Method

All seminars are animated by international experts with more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector. Case studies will be explored to put into practice the concepts learnt during the seminar. Quality teaching materials will be provided during the seminar.

The training includes a presentation of Odyssee.
